# Guesstimation 2.0

I got a book in the mail from Princeton U. Press - they seem to be sending me math books in hopes that I'll blog about them, or something. It's called Guesstimation 2.0, it's by Lawrence Weinstein, and it seems like a good bunch of exercises. For example: estimate the total volume of all human-built structures in the US, and compare it with the volume of Mount Everest. I will, in fact, post a bunch of these puzzles on G+, at least if people seem to enjoy them.

But, the really fun part is that it was sent to

John Baez

AZIMUTH

Centre for Quantum Technologies

[etc.]

So, somehow Azimuth is becoming more real. I'll be glad to pass on this book to one of you after I'm done with it.
