I am getting volumetric data from GPM satellite for precipitation or temperature or whatever, (elevation, width, time) 3D matrix.

I have the data in time-sequence, so I know the evolution in time LHS, I like to know if there are mathematical methods to approximate the RHS of a Hamiltonian or Laplacian.
