New entries Life-cycle assessment, Ecoinvent, Landfill and the survey reference

  • Durk Nijdam, Trudy Rood, Henk Westhoek, The price of protein: Review of land use and carbon footprints from life cycle assessments of animal food products and their substitutes, The price of protein: Review of land use and carbon footprints from life cycle assessments of animal food products and their substitutes_, Food Policy 37 (2012) 760–770 doi

at Carbon footprint and Life-cycle assessment.

It is a bit a problem that the above entries are hard to classify under the current categories of azimuth. Neither waste/waste management nor pollution are categories at present (what is very strange having in mind the scope of the azimuth project), so I classified under too narrow category "carbon" and some secondary categories (for example, ecoinvent under "software").

Data on the global warming potential of greenhouse gases can be found at the webpage

    • United Nations framework convention on climate change: GHG data

and its own source is Climate Change 1995, The Science of Climate Change: Summary for Policymakers and Technical Summary of the Working Group I Report, page 22.

I added this remark at global warming and at greenhouse gas.

It refers to Bern carbon cycle model which I would expect referenced somewhere at Azimuth, but could not find so far.
