2) What is the join \( x \vee y \) in the case

a. \( \mathcal{V} = \textbf{Bool}\), and \(x, y \in \mathbb{B} \) are booleans?

b. \( \mathcal{V} = \textbf{Cost}\), and \(x, y \in [0, \infty] \) are distances.
