I've been sort of distracted by my paper on division algebras and quantum theory, which is the sort of abstract "useless" stuff I've gotten pretty good at over the years... I want to quit but It's sort of addictive!
In a day or two I'll post "week306" of This Week's Finds, which will be an interview with Tim Palmer. By now I've read enough of his book Stochastic Physics and Climate Modelling that I think it makes sense to write about this in the following issue of This Week's Finds. That may lead on to an issue about stochastic resonance, Milankovitch cycles, etc., explaining some things we've been talking about here lately.
