CeBIT 2011 - IT meets Energy: Smart Grid Summit

The CeBIT in Hannover, Germany, is the biggest IT exhibition of the world (which refers to the number of participants or the premises, I'm not sure).

This year there will be a plenum about "IT meets Energy: Smart Grid Summit" about the development of smart grids - people from DESERTEC will be there.

I don't think I'll be there, though, but maybe others are interested :-)

CeBIT program.

I was there many times in my previous "lives" when CeBIT was aready too crowded :-) But I dont want too imagine how it is now. But I think FP7 (sorry I mean the 7th Fw or eu research) has several intersting projects and also that they have opened up for international cooperation in environmental research where they have 270 projects
