Let me compare Graham's Niño 3.4 data

to this:

* [http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/data/indices/ersst3b.nino.mth.81-10.ascii](http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/data/indices/ersst3b.nino.mth.81-10.ascii), linked to [here](http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/data/indices/) under "Monthly ERSST.V3B (1981-2010 base period) Niño 1+2 (0-10°South)(90°West-80°West) Niño 3 (5°North-5°South)(150°West-90°West) Niño 4 (5°North-5°South) (160°East-150°West) Niño 3.4 (5°North-5°South)(170-120°West)".

The second has more data: besides Niño 3.4 it has Niño 1+2, 3, and 4. But all I care about is whether their Niño 3.4 agrees!
