To leave G+ with a bang, I've been posting a series of articles on "Good news", which I've been crossposting to the Azimuth blog as well:

* [Good news (part 1)](https://johncarlosbaez.wordpress.com/2015/12/24/good-news-part-1/): improvements in health and well-being in recent years.

* [Good news (part 2)](https://johncarlosbaez.wordpress.com/2015/12/25/good-news-part-2/): an approach to dealing with anemia in Cambodia.

* [Good news (part 3)](https://johncarlosbaez.wordpress.com/2015/12/26/good-news-part-3/): recent improvements in combating malaria.

I've been getting more good comments on G+ than on Azimuth, which ironically is making me question my decision to quit G+.

The problem with G+ is that _other_ people aren't posting much interesting stuff. Perhaps because of this, I get a lot of interesting people commenting on my posts. But it's sort of depressing to be one of the few bright spots.
